Finally got a new u joint, actually 4 lol. Replaced all 3 in the rear drive shaft, and one in the front. I only needed one in the back but i know as soon as i only did one, another would go out. Tomorrow, im gonna change my oil, check the rear ends, all other fluids, grease everything up, and continue prepping for winter.

Changed front and rear gear oil, used 75-90 synthetic fluid. Also greased everything, changed my oil, topped off all my fluids, and flushed my radiator. Tomorrow, ill be flushing the transmission, and i need to tighten my parking brake up. Thats it for now

Thanks guys, i just picked up my new to me soft top last night. Got a great deal.

Couple questions, how necessary are the pieces that go up the sides of the windshield frame, and between the half door window uppers??

I'd say they are kinda important. They hold the top rail in place but I'm sure you could rig it to work with out. Id attempt to find them used.

Well, i found them earlier. Never used a soft top, so i wasn't sure. They were definitely needed lol. I just now finally got the top and frame on after 2.5 hours

Sorry guys, ive really been slacking in here lol. However, i did pick up a new set of wheels on tuesday that after i repaint will be installed. They're the cragar streetlocks. Paid 100 for 5, and they're in great shape other than 1 of the beadlock rings was broken, but its fixed now.
