Well, it all got started on craigslist one day. I was looking for a clean stockish YJ to trade my 99 ram 1500 for. Found one I thought I could make work, called him, met up, and drove home in my new to me YJ.

Bye bye Dodge:

Hello YJ:

Don't mind the stickers; p.o went a little crazy lol. I didn't care, it needed painted anyways

Looks like a good platform. How much of a body lift does that thing have?

As soon as I got it home, I started pealing stickers. I wanted to get it looking good and on the road with the new parts within a couple weeks.
Got it all sanded down. Only took it to the paint, so I didn't have to primer it. Shot it with paint. Put it all back together. Put the lift on, along with the new tires. A few other parts here and there, and heres how she sat.

Decals:

Was satisfied with how it looked; or so I thought..

Then, I caught the fever.. The mod fever..
Upgrades and accessories were being done daily
It all started with small cheap and free things, then as the fever got worse, the mods escalated.

Seat covers, other creature comfort things; radio, cb, speakers, grab handles, ect.

Winch:

Snorkle, Spare tire carrier, spare tire/wheel, bikini top

Tj gas filler:

Along the 5 month time period I had owned my jeep (march-august) I had made some good decisions, and some bad decisions. Now im in the works of round 2 with the jeep.
Exhibit A: I didn't remove the diamond plate during the paint process..

Also, when I sanded it, where the P.o. sticker bomb'd it, every single sticker showed through on the new paint. I guess the only way to fully remove them is to take it down to metal in those areas because the glue from the sticker gets baked into the metal some how.? Not sure lol. that's just what I was told by a local body shop. So paint round 2 was now in the works.

Down to metal, etching primer, primer, and paint/clear were next

It'd be greatly appreciated if someone could make all of these links click free. Photobucket was the only way I could get them to upload.

I took a small washer fluid tank out of an explorer, and spliced it into the factory plug. Havnt had washer fluid since i did my snorkle in june. Also looked over my stack of extra parts/ take offs. Got a full set of tj stock flares and a full set of yj stock flares, a set of yj side marker lights, and some wagon wheels that i believe fit a cj. Pm me if interested in anything and ill get you pics upon request.
