So It is in. I had to lift it up, check clearance, drop it , lift check things, drop it, change clocking, lift, drop, change clocking about 5 or 6 times to get it were i want it. That was fun.

But using the come along made it worlds easier. I just need to drop it agian, pull it apart and get the metal shavings off of it. Seal and bolt up the adapter for the last time, block of a breather on the d300, fill them with fluid and put them back in. Then figure out what I am going to do about the giant hole in my floor with a transfer case poking through it. :haha:

Kept it flat !

So... things arr changing..

Got the following sitting in the garage that I just picked up.

Chevy 10b front.
Spicer balljoints, timken bearings
Chromo shafts with spicer joints
Reid pass side knuckle
Wfo steering arm with 4th hole
Lockright
2in dom tierod with newish tierods
2in dom draglink with newish dl ends

14bolt rear
Ruffstuff pinion guard
Detroit
Disc brake conversion

4. 37in goodyear MTs on steel wagon wheels.

Both axles are 4.10 so im gonna end up gearing them to 5.13.

Cool! You don't see a lot of people using GM 10bolts... There stronger then a 1/2 D44, and can be had for cheap. How's the aftermarket for them? Should be good for 37s and its built so it should work good for ya!

The outers are swappable with a d44 so tons of support. Inner shafts are specific, but i have chromoly ones so no worries there. Same gear ratios avalible, and tons of trucks came with 10bolts. The fronts are the same as the rears as far as r&p so there is a ton of options.

Picked up a set of stock yj springs.

Gonna run a main, cut main, 2 second leafs and then fan down from there. So basically a 7 leaf pack. gonna mix and match the best leaves and run em. Will be interesting to see what lift i get out of these. Already ready to cut the hangar down for less lift.

Spring packs are together. Cut one main leaf right at the eyes and put it under the main leaf, then followed the rest of the set down.

Also shaved the 14bolt. Forgot how much it sucked to do that.

Before:

Thats a quarter

After:

Thanks.

It is a set of stock Yj rear leafs. a 5 leaf rear pack. But i took the main leaf out of a set of front yj packs and cut the eyes off so it sits directly under the main. So i made 6 leaf packs with 2 full length mains basically.
