Was bored today so I made some rear corner armor. Tomorrow I am going to the shop to bend up some tube. It is going to follow the outside edge of the armor. The tube will follow the bends towards the front of the fender to match my front fenders.

The rear bend was done with a 5clr die on a older hydrolic hossfield bender. Other bends were done with a snazzy 2.5 clr ercolina mandrel bender

Fixed my front driveshaft. Going to see if i can salvage my old skid and bend it back and give it some more reinforcement.

Got a wheeling trip planned for Labor day.

Did some cage work. Not bad for 2hours work.

Was kinda mad when i started test fitting tube. Was planning on big Xs over both but I just didnt have a comfortable amount of headroom in the front. I put my seats down as low as I wanted, but It wasnt low enough i guess. My cage is also a little lower to fit in a hardtop. So I settled on a Giant X. from outside Apillar to inside b pillar to outside C pillar. Gives most headroom and im going to tie into that center node at the B pillar anyways. So it works out.

Cage is all welded up. I just need to take a wire wheel to it and get the spatter off.
