Nice work! I like the build it don't buy it theme. I'm working on a motor swap and am interested in your trans crossmember. Do the bushing at the ends replace the factory rubber mount or are they both still there?
Thanks

No factory mounts left. Basically the trans plate bolts thru the 4 holes on the trans. Then the outer bushings do the work. The outers are a factory lca bushing from a cherokee. I had 2 new ones and they were not too stiff, easily replaceable and cheap. I was gonna use poly bushings but they seemed too stiff. I have had no issues wheeling or dd'ing.

Very nice build... Reminds me if my own rig... Such clean fab work, and attention to detail... Very impressive. I love all the personal touches, and ways you made things work for you... Nice trans skid and mount. Nice usage of the control arm bushings... That 4cyl will never die... I bought my 95 planning a v8 swap down the road, but the 4cyl is a real trooper. Thanks for sharing...

Thanks! She is super fun to drive. Slowly gathering some parts for a change soon and saving for a roll cage.
