95' diesel YJ

I've posted a couple of photos in other threads of my son's Diesel YJ. I figured I would post it here with a few more pics and info.

1995 YJ
4BT Cummins
Th-400 tranny
NP 205 Transfer case
Dana 60 front
10.5" 14 Bolt rear

looks great man, seems like that stack might get in the way on some narrow trails.

Yeah, it does. the stack was off of a tractor that I had sitting out back and it was quick and easy, not to mention an attention getter, for the time being.
We are going to be moving it into the hood. We have a new manifold and turbo setup that we are working on to get the turbo further forward so we can com straight up.

That looks great, a diesel is something I've always wanted in a Jeep. Do you have any idea what kind of mileage you're getting out of it?

We have checked it several times and it is always around 20mpg. That is running around town. The jeep has 4.88 gears and only cruises at about 58mph comfortably, so we seldom get on the interstate with it. I have heard claims of 30mpg from people with the same engine, smaller tires, and more road friendly gears.
