Im putting this in here so when it comes time to make a decision on the front drive shaft I have the link....check them out, seem to be fair priced. Especially if you arent looking to spend $400-$500 on a DS

I finally got my parts!!! I had to make a trip to the JY to get a cap for the reservoir and I ended up picking up an original bracket out of a camanche 2.5L. I trimmed up the bracket and then welded it right to the core support/grill. I also think I have a pretty slick way of hooking up the TPS...I started on the bracket but cant find any bolts to attach the TPS to the bracket so Im stuck on that until the hardware store opens.
I have been working on the shifters, I don't have any pics but I will take one when its all done.
My buddy came over to check out the jeep so I wanted to show off a little so we pulled out the cherry picker and did a flex test on all four corners.
A couple things resulted in this.....I get slight tire rub on the rear shock when the front tire is all the way up and the rear tire is stuffed. Minor rub but it will need to be adjusted.
My drag link hits my passenger side leaf spring when that corner is stretched. If I get a flatter pitman arm it will be alright.
Finally, I don't know what everyone is talking about needing 10 inches of slip because I have reverse shackle.....I can only get 4 inches....the only thing I didn't check was if I have both front tires at full droop. But its getting closer everyday. Tomorrow I am going to the UP to look at house to buy!

Life got in the way again.....for a while we have been looking for some land to buy so we can park our camper on it and have a little weekend spot. Well we found it. 10miles over the state line in the U.P. MI. 4 acres of Maple Hardwoods with a 4 bedroom house. The pipeline and the highline border the back of my 4 acres, so I can wheel and snowmobile right from my land to the 1000 miles of trails. The bad news is that for the last 3 weeks we having been saving money and working on getting this place....so the Jeep is still sitting there.
I did work work on it a little, ended up trying to cut my thumb off. No Dr, toughed this one out. I had a hard to keep it from bleeding for 3 days.
I did finish the TPS and it has a full range of motion, no chains, I think it will work well.

Its been a while but I am finally finishing up the Jeep!! I finished wiring the TPS. I put the drag link back on. I bought that Jb 4x4x bracket but I either need heim joints and mis alignment spacers or I need to thin out my leaf pack because it is right in the way. So for today it is back to the stock steering setup. My Drag link is at a horrible angle but at least I can turn the wheels. I also replaced two wheel studs...put the airbox back in. I bought a TJ head pipe and I think I have everything figured out for the exhaust but I am going to take another look at it in the morning and finish it up. Should be driving after that.
I do still have to finish the 4x4 shifting linkage, lengthen the front driveshaft, bolt drivers seat, bolt in all the seatbelts, fit the doors and the top one more time.
