94 Yj

New member here, found the site while searching for a locker.

Latest jeep is a 94 YJ. 2.5L with AW4, 35's and an 8.8. Some custom tube work too. Nothing too crazy on this one since I wanted to keep street driving it.

Next major Mod will be swapping a 4.3L in front of the AW4, but that'll be late winter at the soonest.

I'm a newbie so I can't post pics. There are some here:

Good looking Jeep. I don't know how to make the pictures bigger though.

Thanks. They're not beadlocks though, just rock rings to keep the rims from getting smashed in the rocks.

Few pictures from the build process.  Basically it started out as a
pretty stock 2.5L YJ with an AX5 tranny.  Swapped in an AW4 auto from a
cherokee, 4" BDS lift springs, explorer 8.8, 35" tires, etc.  Your standard YJ build.

Couple pics:

When I got it

Moved the motor about 7" forward, you get a nice lift out of it too.

The mythical 2.5L AW4

TJ flares on

Rats nest of AW4Shifter

AW4 and 231 in - Nutter clocked the adaptor for me so it's up nice and high

Modified Lokar for the aw4

Needs bigger tires now

Welded in some rim stiffeners so that the 767's don't get mushed like my last
set

Tail lights from a Humvee

Front bumper from a Humvee welded to a cheap winch plate

This months additions. Got a snow wheeling trip coming up, so I decided that a couple lockers would be nice.

Coupple aussies and a TJ shaft as long as the front end is apart anyway. Back one is in already, front is waiting for a couple days. Air compressor in my shop died and the replacement isn't here yet.
