Get some fox or radflo smooth bodies so you can change the valving. Or better yet put some coilovers on that thing. Your not going to notice much going from heims to joints.

I was thinking some 5100 bilsteins for now. From what I've heard people who go from heims to flex joints say it's a huge improvement. But I need the shocks more anyway, my rears are wah too short as it is

It depends what are you feeling? They transfer more vibration but if its riding like a dump truck or the rebounds to slow(my problem) its the shocks. I've got a mix of heims on uppers and joints in lowers in my suspension right now.

I am impressed at my 5125s. Kolak on this forum has GREAT prices. I've bought a couple sets. PM him.

i just finished reading part 1 of the Bella Vista coilover bible. i may hold off on everything including new shocks until i get everything else on my jeep built, like cage, armor and stuff like that so that i don't have to re adjust the suspension for a change in weight

Could wait and just get coilovers. There are used pairs on pirate and racedesert all the time that you could pickup cheap. Or with the smooth bodies you can just swap shims to compensate the valving for any changes. The one shot unchangeable bilstien vavling may work ok( I wasn't impressed with the ones I had) but wont be anything compared to an actually tuned suspension.

thats what i'm thinkin about. i wanna get everything else in the jeep set before i go ahead with a good set of shocks/coilovers. all i really have left that will change weight is the spare tire, cage and aluminum corners, which are light anyway. but i'm planning on changing axles as well so coilovers will be a ways off...

i take that back i am working on building a switch panel right now and i have a high pressure fuel pump and regulator that should be arriving today. every time i go over half throttle i end up loosing power since my engine is getting about 20psi less than it needs. so i'm pretty excited about that

Thanks for the kind words. And you definitely should, but I recommend a 5.3 or 5.2. The 6.0 is a little more than expected haha.

Hey, so I remember you saying you over heat and thats why you have the slits in the side of your hood. Have you considered getting the poison spyder hood louver? Just thinking about it myself and was wondering why you have yet to try that.
