I finished the right rear spring hangers and started to proceed with the front .i was going to leave the front end diff assembly in place and do the hangers ,ring and pinion, aussie locker, posi lock, working around it .but since im going to make some u-bolt protecters i think its easier to remove the hole thing.

when i pulled the axles i noticed that the spares i had aquired from the 87 xj wernt the same. I thought the xj axles would work but they seem to be shorter? What years will work?

i found out why i the jeep would surge when i start out in first gear. i think the extra movement would make the throttle surge back and forth.

started to install the d44. the perches i bought are not going to work. They are a little to long and will limit my travel. They also will make me lose about 3/4" of lift. I cleaned up the old ones and will be reusing them.
