looks AWESOME man. I can't wait to do my cage. I think I'm going to finally pick up a bender and do my own after my deployment. I was going to have a local shop do it, but f- it.... why not do it myself.
yea thats kinda what i said. it was going to be as much in labor as it was going to be for me to get my own bender and do it myself and now since i have it i can bend tube whenever i want. hows the job searching goin?
3/4 out of a '79 F-150. Missing front passenger side shaft, but I was just going to upgrade it. I just paid $320. . . so, make an offer. If not, I'll just slide them under the parts XJ in the garage and build them up when I get back.
hey the guy down the road is gonna sell me a 1 ton D60 for $250 and whenever he gets a front 60 hell prolly let me have it for $250 so im gonna go for that deal. thanks though. i bet is you mention it in the what did you do to your xj today thread you will sell those things quick
Hey, do you have any need for a parts XJ? It's a '92, the motor and trans work fine. I just picked it up to have for spare parts when I break **** on the HEEP, but the wife wants to be able to park her van in the garage while I'm gone, so I think I'm just going to get rid of it. I paid $400 for it and I'll let it go cheap.
the 60 he has now for me is for the rear. i gotta wait on a front one to match it. and i dont really need another jeep, pretty much everything on mine is non-stock anyway lol, but one of my friends was looking into a cherokee just to offroad in so ill let him know that you have one up for grabs. depending on how much money he has he might end up taking those axles from ya if you let him
Ok, the D30 in the HEEP needs the pinion bearings replaced. SO, we could do it a few different ways. I could leave the good D30 under the parts XJ (only half connected right now....just enough to get it loaded onto a trailer and get it to my house) or I could swap the D30's like I was going to and put the one that needs the bearings under the parts Jeep and then give him a good deal on the other axles..... or any combination of the above.... just let me know what he wants. I can borrow a trailer to help deliver it or we could work on it here at my place to get it road worthy and he could drive it home. It is going to need a new battery, but I jumped it and ran it to get it on the trailer and move it around at my place. The A/C compressor was seized when the guy that I bought it off of got it, but he sprayed it with WD40 and it's good now. I'm not sure if the A/C works or anything though.
Hey, the other option would be for your buddy to buy BOTH of my XJ's and I'll just pick something else up when I get back from my deployment.
