wow its been almost 6 months since last post. little update. ive gotten a job and am saving some money to work on the thing. the new plan is to go with a 1 ton 14 bolt rear, that i will hopefully get sometime soon, and a 60 up front. double beadlock h1 rims. 40's hopefully. and yea thats about it. between school and work i havent had much time to work on her

i got a new camera for christmas so i figured id do a few updated pics of her. there is definately some surface rust starting to develope, especially on my ghetto crossmember. i think im going to order the clayton crossmember for their long arms and then build a custom 3 link system for the front. i have also decided that if im going to go big i might as well go BIG so im going to go with either 8" liftor 6.5" lift, long arms front and back with a rear coil conversion. oh yea that last pic is a D70 i got for free. i dont think im going to use it though....

sanded down one of the "frame rails" and one of my thick *** steel beams so that i can weld them togeather and have sometime to tie the roll cage and suspension into. also as i was crawling around on the floor i smashed my head into a steel beam and started bleeding!!!!!

kinda. i havent yet gotten to plating my frame rails however i have 3/8 steel to do it. big thigs are comming though. i ordered the clayton long arm upgrade last week and it should be in within the next few days

i dont think the guy actually has a brand name for it. i got it from a guy in asheville, nc i think. i believe he ships for a decent rate but im headed to school so ill have to find his website for you later. from what i can tell its the same as the jd2 bender but he dosent charge as much.
