The more lifted your Jeep is, the better the driveshaft to trans clearance will be.

rolled the body over onto the passenger side so i could start boat siding the drivers rocker panel today, starting to come together nicely and the weather is starting to warm up again around here

its a rusty one

i wish i had my camera so i could up load some pics, its starting to look like the end is near, i'm still hoping to have the body mounted in the spring

info

Im new to this site and wanted to no if anyone had any info on what I would need to buy to put a merecedes td motor in my comanche I would use the ax15 with the adaptor plate but has far as the fuel system goes and stuff like that any info would be appreciated thanks. Btw build is looking good

try reading some of this, might help you out, i think u may want a stronger transmission then the ax15 though

patch i made on the passenger rear side



started making peices to filll in the holes from the boat siding on the passenger side



drivers side rocker panel, i think it turned out okay



still have to weld every thing up and grind it down


its a rusty one

once i get the floors and every thing finished i will set the body on the frame and drill new holes for all the body mounts and weld some nuts onto large washers and weld them to the under neith

had to take the last 6 weeks off from the jeep, only four of those were due to medical reasons, but im back too work tomorrow and back to the jeep build as well, i do have a few progress pics that i never put up either that i forgot about too
