shocks were paid for. bought a timken D30 rebuild kit. timken inner axle seals. WJ ball joints.

Is that an 8.8 from the crown Vic .... And luck with that ... I can get one right now, trying to decide if its a good option.

See below for answer. But the 8.8 is a great option. I almost wish I would've just done that instead. But the XJ D44 adds a cool factor so I had to do it.

Not quite. It's an XJ D44 with the stock drums still but I have the 8.8 disc hardware sitting around. But since I have aluminum wheels, my wheel studs are not long enough with the added disc on there. So I either need longer studs or steel wheels to install it. Along with making the e-brake work

Also bought WJ ball joints, metal for a new tie rod and new tube adapters. Think I'm going to get the ballistic truss while I have the axle off.

Been practicing with my new welder so I can get decent enough to build more parts like steering links and what not safely.

I'm sure they will be. Having a good welder is nice. I love mine, but I'm ready for a 220....
