89 YJ built with Wag parts

I bought my 89YJ with the engine and transmission removed. The prev owner wanted to V8 the YJ and gave up. I kept the 4.2L and bought a 80 Wagoneer to supply the transmission, trans case and axles. This is the first of the driving pics. I still have to have the front axle geared and locked. The parts are sitting in a box, just have to get the money to pay the shop to do the work.

This is what it looked like for a while. I'm ready to start playing with it now. Had it for over a year and barely driven it so far.

Found a few D44 install tips online. I just did a search on the web and found a few tips. I stayed SUA, so it was easier. I filled the perch holes with a welder, then added some 1/2" steel next to the pads. The springs are 1/2" off from a Wag, so add some metal, drill new holes and sit it on the springs. Wasn't bad. My YJ has a BDS lift with a drop pitman arm, so I had it reamed to fit the Wag TRE on the steering. Got long lines from Napa to replace stock front lines. My front lines were too tight and had to cut the end off. Pax side I flared a new fitting and went on, the LH side I installed a new hard line and hand bent it.
