Looks like I will be leaving in 10 days to go get the Jeep. 3000 miles in 4.5 days pulling a trailer does not sound like fun bit it should be easier than the drive out in the Jeep.

It will be good to have it home. Sucks you have to make the trip though.

Yeah, I would rather put the 1k in gas money towards something else but I will be happy to have it back. I have been a real *** with my wife lately and I think it's b/c 1) the stress of finding out what's wrong and why and how to get it home 2) I don't have anything in the garage to wrench on. The Jeep is my therapy. Yes, I have a problem.

I get the same way when I don't have time to wrench. I think of it as therapy as well.

Hendrix, I am going to be taking I40 to Pheonix and back. If we can work it out, I'd like to stop by on Sunday in 2 weeks to take a look at the Dump.

He bud on your road trip carry a set of spare wheelbearing and atleast one spare tire for the trailer. Pack wheelbearings and thoroughly checking the trailer tires before leaving isn't a bad idea either. I also like feeling the temperature of the trailer wheel hubs at each refueling stop. Will tell ya if a wheel bearing is giving the ghost. It's easier to fix them before they weld to the spindle.
Any way have a good and fast trip west and back east.

Thanks. I've seen a few trailer wheel bearings go bad so I'll pick some up. Already have the spare tire mounted. Gonna go through the lights and everything tonight and then head out tomorrow. Hope to be in Pheonix by mid day Friday.

Picked up some spares for the trailer and left Atlanta around 3pm. Almost made it to Little Rock. Not bad considering the rain, construction and detours.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Just trying to figure out what's next. Depends on the damage I find waiting on me in Pheonix. I really want EFI.

Sitting down for dinner in NM. Almost 800 miles so far today. Wanted to hit 1k but I don't think ill last that long. As long as I make it a couple more hours I'll be good for tomorrow.

I was feeling good still so I ended up with about 1020 for the day. Should be in Pheonix for lunch tomorrow.
