Hey I was wondering if you still had the cage you pulled out of the Jeep? Enjoy KOH, I know most of us on Jeepforum wish we could go!

I appreciate it. Not sure if it would have done much good for me. I becomes very obvious that after you pass the first ridge, you are on your own. I wasn't willing to take too many chances considering it was mid week and I was by myself.

I haven't decided yet. Probably shipping due to time constraints. Next week will be my second week off this year and we are planning a summer trip for my moms 75th Bday.

I don't have it. I had to cut one of the C pillars to get it out of the Jeep and I cut the seat mounts out of it for my new cage. I should have cleaned it up and sold the main hoop with the OR Fab front kit but it all got scrapped.

Even with the bad weather in Atlanta, Dragline got my new synthetic shackle to me before I leave for KOH. This is the HD version with a 34,000 lb rating. It is about 1.5" in diameter and will not fit through a typical bumper mount. Checked it last night on my buddies bumper. However it will work great for my application. I will give an update after KOH. Also, I spoke with the guys about a different application.
I carry a chain in my recovery bag in case I have use the HighLift to jack up my tire. I use the chain to strap my axle to the frame so I don't have to worry about suspension droop. A 3 foot shackle would work great for this and save a ton of weight. What do you guys think?

Had great time wheeling in JV this week. Racing was great. The wind and dust took its toll. Don't know how anyone stayed in a tent. Thank god my friends let me stay in the RV. Saw Redlyner loaded up and headed home. I met Jay while he was lined up Wed night. Super nice guy. Glad he finished.

This pic was taken Sat morning from the top of Chocolate Thunder. A lot of people had already left the Hammers. At night, it was like flying into a major city.

Freakin' awesome!

One day my jeep will be out in that part of the country. Not for KOH but wheeling in general.

Wish I had stayed longer, heard you had a great interview. Haha. The cold and wind were brutal this week. Congrats on the great finish.

Drove back to Phoenix yesterday. Best weather of the day. Flying home today. Now I just have to figure out how I'm getting the Jeep home.
