PLEASE OH PLEASE take those chinamen flares off. They ruin the look of a classic american jeep. Go back to stock

Yes, I agree, but that's the only constructive criticism I have. Other then that, amazing job.. It looks awesome.

I've only seen this Jeep in person, after it was beat on for an extended hunting trip. I didn't realize all that went into it. Looks awesome clean, lol.

I agree on the flares I never was a fan of the look, and I saw a lot of them rust out by the bolt holes. But as a guy who's building a CJ-8 now, have you ever tried to find stock CJ-8 flares? The rears are their own monster and don't exist anywhere I can find in repop or NOS. The companies that sell them ship you a front CJ flare and a rear YJ flare.

Where did that clean body come from? Or is it fiberglass?

it is a fiberglass body, and i know the stock flares are tough ones to find... and i haven't come across any during this build, there is a tan cj8 in the background of some of those pictures that has the stock flares on it... he wouldn't sell them but they are nice to look at eh?

thanks guys, and i have quite a few other buildups i should post, i guess i always forget to share!

if anyone has any questions about how we did anything on this, or where to get something besides flares, or anything else, just let me know
