thanks,............ i love using solidworks it lots of fun............. at work we have one laser now but another will be here in 2 weeks, so that will be 2 lasers, 5 turrets, and 5 press-brakes........ i program the laser and the 5 turrets also........... we have a bender but i have had the time to use it yet, when my jeep was at my buddy's shop for almost a year i used his plasma table and used his bender to bend my cage and all his other tools.....

I'm a sheet metal engineer at a job shop. Is that your occupation as we'll? I play in SolidWorks and program our lasers and turrets as well!

@jeepster1407 pretty much i do the same thing you do, so it sound like........ but were not a job shop by far....... the company just landed a new customer and it looks like a 3 million a year if that , and i have to deal with them..........

Where did you get the steering wheel adapter at? I like the idea of being able to lock the steering like that. Looks good.

i got it from a local small import shop around the corner from my house....

.............GOOD NEWS.............

THE HOMEWRECKER IS ALIVE


I had an extra fuel pump just laying around in the garage from my old 85 ranger and I've used that same pump on my buddy's jeep......... so i connected it all up and the pump worked and got fuel to the rail but she didn't want to fire, so i remembered that that pump was still under warranty, and it still didn't want to fire. at that point i just wanted to shoot myself lol, when a friend moved up north to Sacramento he gave me a few extra parts so that he didn't have to throw them away, and one part he gave me was a ECU, cause extra jeep parts a plus in my book lol............. i disconnected my ECU and put the one he gave me up and the ***** fired up............ NOW all i need to do if find to do is run brake lines, trans lines, and find a good used old trans to see if she'll move lol

i was going to make the rear tube flares for the scrambler but then i saw how cheap the Smittybilt one are............. to bad they don't have a larger flare..... need to do some trimming to make them fit better

well last week i got my drive shafts from the Ed Moore Drive Line in San Bernardino...... i wanted to go with a 2" .188" DOM for my drive shafts but after talking to them i just went with .120" instead i took them 2 shafts form a Cherokee and they shortened the one rear and lengthened the front.......... grand total was $257 cheap as HELL....... and of course its all 1310 spicer u-joints


also i got a new weld, didn't know what i wanted to get at first but then i got an e-mail from Eastwood and they where having a sale on there welder and the reviews were really good so i did it, and i got the cart from good old harbor freight i like that i can put my helmet and all my consumables in one spot




oh and i also got my rebuilt trans from the shop so shes getting there very quickly

I like that welding cart. I built mine out of an old bed frame, my first welding project. Mine isn't quite as nice as yours. Drive shafts are pretty sweet too. I will need some of them soon.

thanks, i had saw one like this from another company and then when i went to harbor freight to get a jack i saw this one and i had a 20% coupon so it came out to be $103 be for taxes........ i wanted to make mine but sometimes its just cheaper to buy one lol

for the past couple night i did some work, i tied in the cage to the crush corners........... i still need to counter sink the heads and added gussets





made this bracket to hold the heater valve, i love making custom stuff lol

did some more work on the 8 this weekend, didn't know if i wanted to do this cause the ability to put the window down is kid of cool,....... what am i saying i dont think ill never put the windshield down, so i cut off the hinges
