76 cj7 from nothing to something

In order to get help with how its going and open to suggestions. I bought a 76 cj7 that was a complete wreck when i got it, but it ran. so i was happy with it. i picked it up for 1500.00. first thing i did was pull it apart. took the roll bar off, not fun. the bottom nuts were stuck and stripped, so had to use a nut splitter. then took the body off. only one bolt came out. all the others were rusted thru and the block was loose. had to cut apart the body to wedge items in the hole to get the bolt off. day three we removed the body. the frame only had surface rust on it and that was a great relief. took a wire wheel to it and had at it. after that covered it in por15. that night hoped on craigslist and and found a trailer full of parts for 600.00. the guy told he wanted his garage back so he said come get it today for 400.00. it came with all new parts; procomp 4" suspension life, new radiator, fender flares, windsheild frame, shocks, break lines, hood, grill, every replacement panel, and other little things. couldnt pass it up so drove 2hrs to get it.

the jeep came with new 33s, but i want big, so i found another add on cl to trade car audio for 37s, i hate some comp speakers and 2 amps so i gave the guy a call and he wanted to trade. they were 37x12.5x16 with dodge 1500 rims. so since the body was off, went ahead and tackled the suspension once the shackles came in. i ordered a shackle kit, full stainless hardware kit, glove box, por15, marine clean, daystar 1" body lift, performance accessories polyurathane kit, and kc windsheild light mounts, about 2 weeks before hand. the lift went well except the pitman arm is too big, and i had to put the axle back under the front springs.

i ordered tube fenders, tube fender flares, and rocker guards. i even ordered my rims. since the doge rims wont mount on the front due to the hubs being so big. i also went to lowes and stared my 50.00 dollar paint job, well it was 48.73. so far so good. ill post those pics later.

so i sold off alot of my extra parts on cl, trying to come up with money to buy my gas tank, stinger front bumper, and front tube fenders. made 400 off everything, and should be getting some cash flow over the next few days. front bumper is 150, fenders are 300 shipped, and gas tank comes with the tank, hoses, sending unit, and clamps for 200 shipped. still waiting on the right pilot tool so i can remount my tranny. and put the jeep back together. got bored today so i cleaned up the windshield frame and mounts and test fitted other things.
