'72 DJ RHD Postal Jeep

I just wanted to introduce myself and my Jeep. If is a 1972 AMC DJ5. This is my first Jeep ever despite always wanting one. I have always been into Volkswagens and figured it was time for a change of pace. The Volkswagens sparked in interest in Right Hand Drive vehicles so I finally got one. The Jeep is in need of some serious work but I am REALLY looking forward to it.

Thanks, I look forward to contributing to the Forum.

Thanks for the replies.
The previous owner thought he would be cool and buy the $15.95 3" Lift Kit from Autozone.
If you think the Shackles look scary, you should try driving it down the freeway. I had to stop and call my wife to tell her that I loved her just in case I didn't make it.

I am picking up some 32" Goodyear MTR's this weekend. Now I need to track down a new Lift for it.
I will update the pictures as soon as I get the new rubber mounted.

Very cool! Welcome to the site, & good luck with the build. If you need any parts, I know a great jeep wrecking yard that could help you: J&W Auto Wreckers: New & Used Jeep Parts

These guys have a plethora of DJ parts, & will ship anywhere. A guy who works there has a lifted DJ that they take to the Rubicon every year, so they might have an idea for your lift woes as well.
