I used to have a 95 12v that I had a #0 fuel plate in, and boy did that thing ever have balls, and it could leave a nice thick cloud of soot haha.

I love Cummins haha, I was at the state fair over the weekend, and there is always those sticker stands that have all kinds of red neck stickers for your redneck truck, I almost bought the "real trucks dont have spark plugs" sticker.

I asked the guy if he could make me one that said "Jeep makes it, Cummins shakes it" and he just looked really confused....
"Jeep makes it, Cummins shakes it"
That'd be a pretty awesome bumper sticker for jeeps with Cummings engines.
Here at work at the airport next to coatesville we have a vinyl cutter we use for whenever we need a label, S/N, things like that. I've been thinking about making jeep bumper stickers with it.
A little extra pocket money for finishing my yj rebuild.

The first pic is hard to see, but I wanted to highlight a major issue with fitting the motor, the motor could be pushed back 4 more inches to get a little more weight towards the back, but then there is no room to run an exhaust, the turbo exit points right at the firewall, I would like to fab a new header to relocate the turbo, and push the motor back some, but we will see, its all an experiment.

I also like to note that for me, when I do something like this, I typically like to rip out all the wiring and start fresh. I usually just do relays and fuses and try to keep it organized. I plan to redo most the body wiring as well, I mean does anybody have a YJ that does not have random wires hanging down that seem to go nowhere? Not to mention the hacking done by previous owners....

So in time, all the wiring will be redone, probably with a painless wiring kit. But as far as the enigne bay and wiring are concerned, I am pretty happy with it.

I like to think right now I am in the "Mockup/Prototype/Test" stage. Once I get all the bugs worked out and everything mechanically perfect, I am going to tear the whole thing apart, re-paint, body work, yadda yadda, basically restore it.

Way back a friend of my mom had a cj5.
Her boyfriend worked at a auto shop so she had him lift it.
She had to give warnings when people were sitting in the back when she shifted.
Otherwise they would get hit in a rather uncomfortable place.
The shifter was so long.
I doubt that would pass inspections nowadays though.
Loving your setup more and more.
The mpg of a small car in a jeep and the durability of a diesel engine.
I've gotta finish rebuilding my jeep but maybe sometime well in the future I'll make one of those as well.

I do have the 10 degree adapter on my engine the motor and trans came attached. If you want some more power I would deffinatly recommend the fuel pin and gov spring it really woke the engine up. They are fairly easy to install and brought my max boost from about 13 up to 23 psi. I still have a bunch of small things to do on mine too but have put about 3000 miles on the swap. I will look on ebay for an intercooler that will fit

Very nice! Does the 4bt have the cylinder deactivation for cold weather starts like the 6bt. I know the 6bt fuels 3 cylinders when the temp is low and it sounds crazy!

Yea, I do not want to mount my motor on a 10 deg angle

I have no idea about the deactivation, I don't think it does. If it did it would be some internal mechanical set up, but I really do not know.

Before it gets too cold and you decide to take it for a ride I would recommend adding another battery to your setup for the extra power to get it started.

I plan to. I want to get two Optimas batteries at some point. The one in it is a cheapo wal mart battery haha. But it works for now.

You ever see that thread in general about the advance auto part discount?
Btw what all does your shop have in way of machinery and tooling?
My dad is going to design and make a rotating engine stand for this Rolls Royce griffon engine and if you made engine mounts for your engine then I was wondering what all is at the place you did those at.
Hypothetical question,
If you could have that bumper sticker made how tall and how wide would you want it?
