Hey guys, new to the site. But I figure this would be a cool project to share

I started with a really clean, solid, straight 1986 Comanche with a 2.8 v6 and auto trans. I thought it had the 4.0 and manual drive train in it and was origanlly going to throw some 6 lug diffs under it and call it a day. When I got there it was v6 and auto so my plans changed slightly. And now things got kind of out of hand

Bolted the headers on and tried dropping motor in between frame rails. It was close but I couldnt find a shoe horn big enough to make it fit. So long story short I made the executive decision to cut off the whole truck from the firewall forward and start new. As many of you know Comanches are unibody so I had to make new frame rails. I thought it would be cool if the front clip flipped forward so I ran with it and I couldn't be happier with the progress

Fabbed up some 4' tall saw horses to sit the body on while I positioned the axles. I am going to weld the axles to the frame solid so I can roll the truck around the yard while I set up the suspension. Also I built trusses for the axles and rebuilt the kingpins.
