So for my Police Academy Graduation my wonderful wife gave me two great Jeep Presents!
Mirror relocation brackets and a Gallon Kit of Hurculiner
Here's the mirror reloaction
I didn't like the "diving board" design of these and was sick of them vibrating as I drove down the road.. So I decided to weld in another brace on them. This fixed the problem and now they don't wiggle or vibrate at all
Thanks guys! Was a little hesitant and first getting into this jeep.. But for the low miles, parts and price, I soon got over how much work it would take.. I'm very happy now. And my wrangler friends are much more friendly
So future plans for winter building time are
Front G2 d44 with Detroit locker
Take my rear d44 and do a super 44 kit with ARB
4.88 gears (or should I go lower?)
New 3" or 3.5" springs and new shocks
Possibly anti-rock or winch
Oh and my good friend Plrbear with his gorgeous white Jk on 37's, graciously gave me his On Board Air pump because he upgraded to a bigger one.. Heck yes!
Current to-do list
-Get OBA pump and install
-Install ZJ washer Bottle
-Buy some floor mats for when around town
-Replace Crank Position Sensor
-Find replacement EVAP line going to crankcase (Part of the problem I'm diagnosing)
-Replace u joints on entire jeep
-Replace tie rod ends on my rusty's steering (the PO didn't keep them greased so there is some wiggle in the ball joints)
-reinstall fog lights
ECT ECT ECT...
looks like a pretty good list of things to do! Hmmmm I think I'd think about gearing a little lower. I'm sure 488's would work just fine though. Was it regeared at all when you bought it or is it still running the stock gearing.

I'm running 4.56 which isn't bad.. It's an Auto so 4.56 is good for 33-35's.. It just struggles up some really steal hills with the 37's.. Like when I towed the boat to fish lake over 4th of July weekend..
