Nothing too impressive... modified my tire carrier to fit my new lug pattern. I had to cut off the old mount, then I cut a new one on the plasma table. I made it adjustable for different backspacing on wheels. I also welded 2 lug studs on the crossmember to mount my hi lift. I'm using a locking lug stud for the hi lift and the spare. I cut a bottle opener bracket... trying to think of a good spot to weld it on. Finally I took a riddler D44 cover... ground the cover smooth, then I cut a skull out and tig welded it on.

Hey man sorry... I couldnt find my pen drive which had all my parts listed. Anyways, I finally found it.

I made the dana 60 caliper brackets on my plasma table
I am running 3/4 ton chevy brake calipers from advance auto, cardone brand part number: 184124 & 184125
Wearever brake pads part number: NAD52
Rear drop line (1) part number: H106330
Rear soft lines (2) part number: H36847

And then I ran hardline between the drop line and the soft lines. The short soft lines are out of a monte carlo and the rear drop is out of an old D100 pickup.

I dont have any pictures of the boring tool... but I can describe it. I used a piece of steel 1/4" solid stock. Put 2 of these universal arbors on it... http://www.amazon.com/Starrett-A19-Oops-Pilot-Arbor/dp/B005HPU2H4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1313953275&sr=8-2
Then you use a 1/2" milwakee hole saw bit as a guide, with a 9/16ths hole saw bit behind it. The 1/2" acts as a guide and keeps the 9/16ths bit straight. Then after I made it through I swapped the 9/16ths to the front and 5/8ths on the back. The 9/16ths bit acted as the guide for the 5/8ths bit. It took a good amount of time. But it was well worth having 35 spline shafts. Keep the bits well lubricated with cutting oil. I would swab it out with a magnet and a shop vac every few minutes. Works good and haven't had any issues with it.

Awsome so sounds like I've got some work to do? How far do you have to drill (how long is the spindle?)

I would say about 6-8" It really isnt that bad... have a buddy with you and a case of beer and trade off when your arm goes dead.

Also figure that since nothing actually rides on the inside of the spindle, it doesnt have to be smooth. Just make sure you get as much of the shavings out of the axle as possible.

Productive day... I found out what my drivetrain vibration was... replaced motor mounts, transmission mount, fixed a leaky rear full float hub seal, a leaky OBA line and found time to put something pretty on it.

I did manage to get a front sway bar on. It is out of an old XJ... it is flipped and pointed forward. I cut a small plate out of 3/16ths and welded nuts to the back. Cut oversized holes in the frame and recessed the nuts in the frame. Welded the 3/16ths plate flush and mounted the sway bar. The curve in the sway bar contours under the oil pan nicely. I plan on making some quick disconnects but these work for the time being.

Thanks man... how's the 60 coming along?

This weekend the local jeep club has a poker run and benefit for a local jeeper who was injured a while back in a shop accident. I gotta get my antiwrap on before I completely destroy these rear leaf springs! Only issue I have is that fact that my OBA tank is right above my rear axle. I guess I need to put the rear in full bump and see how much clearance I have. Pics will follow once I get going on it.
