It doesn't look right with the flares clean

Nice YJ.

Thanks fellas. Yeah, I had to clean the mud off the side so I could mark out what i needed to cut and drill for the new flares. The notch worked out real well. I moved my rear seat 8" back to give people more foot room. I have my nephew and nieces in the heep with me all the time too... so getting rid of the back seat and putting a fuel cell in was not an option.

Welp, I cut myself some stock height boomerang shackles on the plasma table... brought the rig down about an inch and a half. It steers better and a lot less body roll.

I also picked up an AW4 which I am in the process of trying to collect parts for the swap.

And I also got a 35 spline lock right, a solid diff cover and some Dana 70 35 spline shafts for the rear. Here are a few pics including the size difference between 30 spline and 35 spline shafts. 35 splines are BEEF!

Welp, I used the torchmate and made a fire extinguisher mount and finished wiring up my incab winch controller... Left switch arms the winch, black momentary switch powers out, red powers in.

I'm also working on my rear bumper to fit a 37" spare and carry my high lift.

I also installed my 35 spline locker in the 60... went to put in my 35 spline shafts and realized that my spindle size was too small... MY SHAFT IS TOO BIG FOR THE HOLE!

So I made a tool and have started boring them out to clear my 35 spline shafts.

Got it finished up yesterday morning around 8:30am... at 9:30 I left to go to a local wheeling spot. Beat on it for a few hours and totally demolished a rear driveshaft. I drove it home the 30 miles in front wheel drive and immediately went up to the shop where I have an XJ driveshaft lying around. I shortened it 12" and rewelded it back together. Ready to go again!
