Thanks for the compliments fellas!

On a side note, I was driving around today and noticed that my BRAKE light was on. I checked the fluid level, plenty in the MC reservoir. I don't have an ebrake hooked up, would that cause the dummy light on the dash? I checked, the ebrake pedal isnt pushed in...

How ironic... I can build a custom suspension... but dumbfounded by a dash light!?!?!!

Welp jeep does 65 and holds it pretty well. With 4.10's and 37's I was turning about 2300 rpms. It takes it a bit to get up to speed, but it isnt terrible.

The suspension is very soft. Which is a good/bad thing. I am going to have to figure out a way to get a front sway bar on. I had to cut off the old sway bar mount when I stretched the front and used a flat pitman arm.

Not sure, I gotta see if my bumper closes off the stock front xmember that the antirock mounts in. I would like to have something that has an adjustable rate like the antirock though...

Welp, got a set of 6" wide TJ flares in route... and hopefully finalizing a deal on a 35 spline lock right for the D60. I gotta go out to the local PnP and see if I can dig up some 35 spline full float shafts now!

Flares still havent come in yet... USPS said they were supposed to arrive yesterday. NOPE... but this did come in! So now I need to find some 35 spline axle shafts and I will be ready to rock.

Taking the jeep for a shakedown/camping trip this weekend. Expect pictures in a few days.

Just wondering, have you pulled your shafts to check for spindle clearance? Chances are you might have to bore your spindles when you upgrade to 35 spline.

Good question... The D60HD (which I got) has additional webbing on the housing. Also if you look here...

There will be an HD... which will obviously indicate if you got an HD axle or not. But the HD has a spindle ID of 1.61" and are 35 spline shaft ready!

Good lookin out though man . I am trying to get my rig figured out for Big Dog's... you gonna be there?

Well I keep being an idiot and deciding to get more and more involved with my rig. Now the plan is to cut off the front frame and redo it out of tube to replace where it is bent from being wrecked by a previous owner. So now I'm gonna redo the front suspension again for about 7 full inches of uptravel and probably another inch of wheelbase. In the process I will also be going full hydro in addition to the engine swap. So after that is all said and done I hope to possibly have it a roller over my spring break and then finish the engine swap, etc by the first week of June tentatively. Tires have also been sold so I'm trying to find a set of 37 Treps.

Took it out wheeling last weekend. I was really surprised with how flexy this thing is. I realized that I need to get that locker in the rear before my next wheeling trip and look for some tires with... TREAD! hahaha.
