Carrier attaches to the body and swings with the tailgate free of the bumper. You tube Tera flex hinged tire carrier and there is a couple good videos on it.

It simple and light weight both a plus in my book. Other tire carriers I have had that swung free of the tail gate were always a pain in the A$$

Thanks still trying to find a big block of time to put the lift on. I have also been tinkering with one of my hot rods that has been sitting in the garage for awhile now. I am hoping that next weekend I will be able to put the lift on.

Did you use the AEV drop brackets up front or the Metalcloak arms? It looks nice by the way.

Right now it's the drop brackets and stock CA. I want to drive some before any more mods.

So it wanders a bit? I am going to put it on alignment rack and check for center with the computer and the AEV pro cal. Also will try to lower air pressure a little bit more currently at 30psi. I know most run theirs at 28. Other than that I can't think of any thing more.

So I took the jeep on a 100 mile road trip this weekend to monterey with my son. I am happy to report mileage was much better than expected. Averaged 17.8mpg and drove 70mph most of the way. Probably could do a bit better If I slowed down and had my skid plate on.

On another note I think it still wanders a bit. I am going to have the alignment done and hopefully that fixes the problem. After that IDK? Maybe I am expecting to much but my lifted truck and old jeep don't wander at all.

I have checked all the obvious stuff.

I love the look of this color....

I just got a True Blue JKU a few weeks ago and a few mods are starting to arrive. Nothing major yet, rails, other minor cosmetic things. I'm budgeting for a lift and tires right now.
