this is my second build but my first build thread.

started with a bunch of parts.
smitty xrc armor front and rears.
rugged ridge modular front
rugged ridge rear with tire carrier
on the way are 35x12.5 Goodyear mtr a/kevlar and rugged ridge hammer? wheels.

no lift. gussets and tubes for axles.

ready for paint. this will have a custom paint job from Steves restoration in Frankfort New York. ( google pictures of "copper truck") the color is from a 2013 skidoo. think olive drab but funky. it is going to have texture similar to raptor liner on the whole body. as soon as it gets back from paint. I'll update this.

So, the Jeep has been at the painters for a couple of days now and I was getting to missing it. I thought I might swing by and have a looksee. Here we are, just about ready for paint...

Oh, and these are sitting at home waiting for her. You may recognize the tread pattern From the above pics. the hood and tailgate are half black for a reason....

The texture on the paint is a little more chunky than planned but all in all I think it looks amazing!! This stuff is laid on thick. you can see how thick it is in the closeup of the tread design.

we also had the paint shop cut the pinch seams in rear. I'll have to cut down the Smittybilt xrc armor rock sliders to clear the 35s I'll post pictures later.

It will be on display at the Syracuse Nationals this year at the Steves Restoration booth! However, this will be wheeled hard and put away wet...
