That thing is absolutely sick I love it, but I bet it doesn't see any trail time:( Nice jeep though very nice! You should drop a Hemi 5.7 or 6.1 in there or supercharge that 3.7...

Do you wheel it?

BeepTheJeep 02-02-2010 02:07 PM

That kicks ***! I love it. I have never imagined that a rubicon would look great in red

csouers 02-02-2010 02:17 PM

i wouldnt bet on it, no one in their right mind would use stock axles for that size of tire and not expect it to blow up the first time it saw a banana peal on the road.

oh good gosh. thats massive. looks like you still have the stock 44s on it. thought about upgrading those? i bet they dont like the 41" nittos. haha

It looks like he wheels it to me...take a look at his pics thru that link he provided. Aren't the JK Dana 44's stronger than the TJ Dana 44's? Thats why Bennettj13 swapped JK axles into his TJ.

I personally think its awesome! :cheers2:

Nice lookin Jeep.

looks wheeled to me

Bennettj13 is on 35's......not 41's. You're comparing apples to oranges. Yes, the JK 44's are stronger than TJ 44's but that is a totally moot point on anything larger than 37" tires. IMO, that thing looks like a big show truck. Way too much height, way too underbuilt. To each his own.

It's an awsome "street" Jeep, that can be very carefully offroaded. Yeah the JK 44's are stronger but they do have their weeknesses. Housings and knuckles for one. Look at the big JK's in any mag the few that haven't swapped axles have welded gussets on the knuckles. JP magazine bent their Jk front 44 on 35's. That's why Dynatrak started making just a housing for JK 44. You buy it and just swap in all your shafts, brakes etc. Less sho more go, but hey, I ain't bashing the guy, it's a cool looking Jeep, that's the way he wanted to build it and he's clearly enjoying and loving every minute of it.

I dont know why people have to clutter his thread with whether he wheels/not, hard/not.

Either way, its a super nice looking jeep. I like it a lot.

TylerFlip 02-02-2010 04:07 PM

INCA 02-02-2010 04:48 PM
