2006sports slow TJ build up

Alright well i got really bored and am making a new build thread to eliminate all the chatter in the other thread which will be deleted when i am done with this.

Finally got my Jeep that I've always wanted. Bought her with 32,928 miles on the clock for about 15 grand off the lot (MD's Jeep prices are insane. Definition of stealership). Anyways here are the specs

190 hp I-6
42RLE transmission
Dana 30 front
Dana 44 Rear
3.73 gears
Full doors
Bright silver metallic

Here are my plans

Black headlight bezels-Done!
Hella 500 lights with light bar-Done!
Cragar Soft 8s-Done!
2 inch BDS Suspension lift-Done!
31 inch Goodyear Duratracs-Done!
Poison Spyder Steering box skid-Done! Thanks Tony!
Poison Spyder Bombshell D30/D44 diff covers-

Here are some things i am playing with for when the Jeep is legally mine.
Rokmen Belly up skid
33 inch tires-MTZs, Cooper STTs or BFG KM2s
Re-gear to 4.88s or 5.13
3 inch BDS ultimate TJ lift kit
Rokmen or Savvy Gas tank skid
New bumpers
Winch
SYE and CV driveshaft
and just for giggles...a 5.0 motor swap

Day i got her

First thing i did was take the stock sub out and sell it for 125 bucks which went towards the purchase of some Cragar soft 8's (later in thread)

First time no doors (55 degrees out still the best day of my life haha)

First time top down (again 55 degrees out)

Got to see how my jeep performed first hand in the snow (very well i must say)

Next thing i did was i got some black headlight bezels from 4wd.com

I found some rust on my windshield hinges that the PO had caused cuz they thought it'd be cool to drop the windshield too fast and broke the seals

My first wheelin trip was a success...i loved it heres the two pics i managed to get

Next mod was some hella 500 driving lights on a Rugged Ridge light bar (i apologize for the ****ty camera phone pictures)

While my jeep was damaged...i got some Cragar soft 8s from summit racing.com I LOVE THEM lol they transformed the look of it.

Well i went on a second wheelin trip and it was awesome. I got some pictures.

I got some Kentrol 03-06 mirror movers for my jeep after the wheelin trip. They arent as bad as i thought but still.. Here's pics

Oh and Thanks to flatlander757 i got a Poison spyder customs Steering box skid that he painted in Hammered silver...goes well with my silver jeep i think

Oh and here's a comparison between my rig and Flatlander's, that thing is a ****ing beast in person, He has really done a good job on it

Hopefully next week/weekend. I leave the beach on sunday. I dont wanna do it when it is humid outside (its sposed to rain the week i want to do it) for the fact that it could effect the curing of the liner so we will see..hopefully i'll at least prep it.
