After researching Wyotech, I would pay about 35k to learn more about automotive systems. I already know alot about vehicles, mechanical systems, repair, installation, welding, and plasming cutting. So I think I wouldnt get 35k worth of knowledge out of their school. Researching other 4x4 shops across the US to get into. Somewhere with a little better cost of living. If that leads to So. Cal. when I can afford it great, but until then I will be trying to make the career change.

Jeep Update. Installed LED tail lights, third brake light, license plate relocation, and LED tag light. Looks clean and very bright. Pics to come.

one thing to consider is that those tech programs can help you get into a job after graduating. it might not be the exact job you want right off the bat, but it would get you into the industry and from there its easier to make changes.

Yeah I see that. But the jobs that I could get into after graduating would be a regular mechanic or mechanic at a dealership and that isn't at all what I want. Plus ill have 35k worth of debt and that won't be fun. I can try to get my foot in the door at a 4 wheel drive shop as a broom pusher and work my way up. I'll be able to show my knowledge and try to help and dive in to projects.

They look great. The second picture is just running lights on. The third is brake lights and reverse lights. Also right at my tag light there are three red LEDs that light up red as my third brake light.

Haven't been on here in a while. Still have my jeep. Still wheeling it hard. Went to Rausch with a bunch of friends last weekend. Pics to come. Next build stage is Savvy Under Armor for my TT, Metalcloak over line fenders, rocker guards, and rear fenders, 37" MTRs, and regear. In that order as money allows. Also I joined Southern Maryland Jeepers. How has everyone on here been?

went to Rausch two weekends ago and just got back from Tennessee last night. wheeled Golden Mountain and Wind Rock. my jeep was towed down on the back of a 2 car hauler and I only wheeled it at Wind Rock. That place is awesome.

Southern Maryland Jeepers are (for the most part) a bunch of web wheelers. try joining the Hard Rock Crawlers if your looking for a good group of guys who wheel.
