Yes so glad I went straight to 35s. I got new wheels too and backspacing 3.75. So no rubbing. More pics to come and still a long list of things I need to do. Thanks for watching.

Retapped a cross threaded body mount bolt. And got that all fixed and torqued today. Also ordered new 33 tooth speedo gear and O ring. And new fuel filler hose the 15131046 GM hose so it doesn't overflow when refueling. Just need it longer because my body lift. Still selling rocker guards. Still looking for lug nuts and center caps also.

Are you sure the 33 tooth speedometer gear is what you want... The rubicon speedometerm is electronic and dosnt use the gear like a normal tj...

Thanks for such a quick response. I only did a little research. And all I found was on the TJs themselves not rubis. But I canceled the order in time. And now know about the rubis using electronics for the speedo. So that's lower on my priority list. Got a new fuel tank filler hose with the flapper valve ordered so I can cut this one longer so the cap will fit on with the BL. Still looking for lug nuts and wheels.

No major updates. Hurricane sandy just came through and I've been running a bunch of calls at the firehouse. Put on the new fuel filler hose and cut to size so that's all buttoned up. Now figuring out what route to go with my front driveshaft rebuild. Will this work ? http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p108...reaseable.html

i believe that is the exact kit I used to rebuild mine. Keep in mind you will need one more 1310 Spicer U-joint to complete the rebuild.

a buddy of mine has a 05 or 06 LJ Rubicon with a Speed-o-healer installed. he said the install was very simple and he was able to calibrate his speed perfectly.

look into it

I have a speedo healer and REALLY wish I did it sooner on my 06 Rubi. Beyond simple install and really easy to calibrate. Just pay attention to where the decimal place is. That messed me up the first time and cause the jeep to cut out.

It's on the list. Thank you guys for following my build means a lot. Took out the front driveshaft this afternoon so I can rebuild it soon. Adjusted my park brake so leaving it in gear is not a necessity. Want to do the speedo healer. And new bumpers and tire carrier combo.

One thought about the u-joint kit. Does the rubicon use a different front output yoke.
