2004 TJ Rubicon "Skittles " build

Hello and welcome to my build thread. Figured I would start this just to record and track my jeep build.

The first pic I took, the following day after coming home. I removed all the dealership stickers and the front plate trim This was May of 2010


Took the wife for a little trip thru a local trail.. nothing serious just a little fun.


First thing I got was a RR hd front bumper and black headlight trim rings

Rampage bowless soft top for the summer. I got a great price on it and its a must for the east cost. Nice warm summer and long cold winters ( hard top goes on )

my new radio came in aswell as my new heater control knobs, I was sick of the plastic ones falling apart. will post pics tonight

the top is just fine for me, its easy and quick. I have the hard top on more of the year anywho.
I just ordered the BSD 2" suspension lift... so that will be a nice upgrade

my smittybilt rear bumper



finally installed the tail gate storage from smittybilt


Installed the jvc headunit with the billet heater control knobs. love the radio.. has full ipod control and bluetooth which is just a great feature.





also finally hooked up the navi

Where did you get your install kit for your cd player? mine has got the useless stroage area under it I can't stand it.

rdunn3000, its a basic install kit, I picked it up at best buy ( had a gift card )
