Okay update for those interested. After getting the rockers mounted on I had to mount the corner guards to verify that the work on the rear end would be sufficient. I just want to remove dents from the critical areas so that the corner guards sit as flush as possible. I also primed the worked area to cover up all bare metal.

Couple Notes: The LJ corner guards don't come with flare holes anymore so your going to have to mount them up and then mark the holes for the flares and then drill them out. I also highlighted all the nutsert holes for a LJ in red. There are 5 on the drivers side and there are 5 on the passenger side. Here is how it looks.

What tail lights are you going to run? I think the off-road only LEDs would look awesome. Awesome job by the way.

Okay the corners are going to be painted tomorrow. I worked on the rockers and steps today. I am going to color match the rocker base and hammer finish the steps. Here is how it turned out so far. I am debating wet sanding the rocker base so that I can get a smooth finish or leaving them somewhat textured. I am leaning towards making them smooth but its a lot of work to get them there. Also got all the screws setup to be painted as well.

Okay I know I have been jumping around a bunch with this install but I will try to organize the install process from rockers/step to corner guards etc...

Painted screws look great, but wont they get all scratched up when you go to install them?

I think if I take my time they won't get damaged too much. I will keep a little touch up paint to cover up any marrs. I am a little concerned about getting too much paint in them though

Put a piece of tape over the tip of the screwdriver.
