Hey bud thanks, I am going to stick with 35s. I don't think the extra stress on components is worth the tire upgrade.

Bigger tires are well worth it. But time and wheelin will dictate that.
There's lots of stuff to tackle on 35's. Visit a certain area enough and your Jeep will change some

All depends on the frequency of the visits, but go there enough the Jeep will either change or get tore up pretty bad.

Just looked over your build. Very nice LJ! I am getting everything lined up to do the Clayton 3/4 link setup on my LJ. I will also be installing a HP dana 30 and going with 4:88's and ARB's as well.

You guys are trouble makers. For my tooth pick axles I think the 35s will have to drag me through for a while.

Some updates on my end: have not been to any of the off-road areas in CA but this weekend will be the first! Tomorrow myself and Nate will be in the high sierras. He was gracious enough to show us around! Despite any rock crawling I have been off payment riding through the desert to and from work and it's been fun. Where I live there is a lot of desert you can just drive through!

I have been searching for a third vehicle/tow rig and picked up a ram 1500 for an awesome deal! I got a trailer on order and it should be ready in two more weeks! We have some cool modifications planned for the trailer to make it safe and loadable without guessing. I am still trying to get some MTRs but they have been on back order for a while now.

I did install my 4:1 case that has been siting around for a while and it's pretty cool! My crawl speed is much slower and seems more consistent. I am excited to try it out tomorrow! That's about all going on here.

Sounds like your going to have some fun today. What mods are you planning for the trailer? I just striped mine down, re-wired and painted, then added tie downs and put an aluminum box on the front. I'm interested in what you have up your sleeves 👍

I think your rig and Jeremy's rig represent just about the perfect practical and not over the top TJ set ups. His rig is just stupid capable. For his first time up he was schooling obstacles that I definitely had to literally "build" up to over the years. Super nice rig.
