Subscribed. My build thread started at a rollover too. It was a ton of fun. Fun jeep. I'll enjoy watching. I'm just down the road in Norman, OK. Might look for you at Disney sometime?

When you cut the stock lower shock mounts, did you use a sawzaw? Or is it easier to just cut out with a angle grinder?

I'm looking at doing something similar to get more out of my 12's and not cut upper mount, since I plan it do CO's down the road.

I have yet to make it there but I would love to get down there soon!

I believe I used a combination of both although my memory is a bit foggy. Having good blades and cut-off disc helped immensly. Don't skimp on that department. Be careful how low you get the shock mount as you have to deal with very tight clerances for the LCA bolt, different radius axle tube vs inner C and caliper clearance and full lock.

You can find 12" shocks that when converting to coilovers have the exact same collapse and extend lenghts. I set my mounts so I can do CO if I ever need it without modification however, I don't seen any pratical need for me.

I have to say man I love what you have done with your Jeep. I will be modeling my next build closely to this. My plan is to buy a wrecked LJ this summer and build similar to what you have done.

Keep up the great work
