Hey, I'm from Tewksbury! From where he lives it's probably a good 30-45 minutes away.

I was gonna ask him if he knew any of the firemen in Tewksbury. I've got an Aunt and Uncle that are from there. My Uncle was a retired lieutenant from the fire department.

No, I am not familiar with any one from Tewksbury. On the Northshore I would.

Found my air filter like that. Looks like its been rubbing a while due to three small gaps on the filter. Went to auto zone and bought a 3" filter, but it doesnt fit. The pipe opening is 2-5/8. Had to bring that back and get store credit. I will have to order a new one online.

I just ordered a K&N Round Tapered Universal Air Filter, from Quadratec to replace the filter, $33, which seems to the rate for a cheapo one as well.

Nice rig man, I'm down here in RI, planning on getting a TJ next month and starting a build along the same lines. I will definitely be referring to your build over and over.

Recived the new K&N filter today. Went to install it and it didn't fit of course. Went to Auto Zoo and bought a 3" Coupler and it fit with some clamps. Had to tie clip it for now so it doesn't move.

I have been debating on ordering the Hyline Louvered Hood Panel. I was thinking of getting the bare metal and having it color matched Patriot Blue. Its $155 from QTec, but I have $50 in a gift card to use. So it would only be $105 with free shipping.

I think you should save your money for the ARB lockers you've been talking about for a while. Hood louvers are cool and all, but are they really necessary? It's not like you've been out in Death Valley and you need all the cooling you can get.

But thats's just my opinion. No matter what you do, your Jeep will still be pretty hip.
