Primed and painted my UCF diff covers today, will probably install them next week or so. I painted the diff covers a smoke grey. I have used this on my disco's and liked how it came out, it also matches the long arms. Wanted to try something other then the blue I have been painting them.

Pure Jeep Steering skid came in today. I decided to paint it smoke grey to match the diff covers and long arms.

Been a while since I followed you build. Great pics on the Novac install. I like the gray paint on the accessories. Looks much cleaner than that bright blue. When is the UCF covers going on?

Skid Plate. It came with more holes for bolts, but none lined up for this year TJ. It is still solid and will not move.

Installed the front/rear UCF diff covers. Everything lined up perfect. The Ford 8.8 held 4.5 quarts of fluid and the HPD30 took 1.5 quarts of fluid. I got Valvoline 80w-90 w/ limited slip. $6.49 a quart and 3 tubes of silicone, but I only used 2. I Bought 7 quarts of fluid just in case. I also had to buy a T-70 star bit for the fill plug on the HPD30. Had to make three trips to the store for more silicone because the first tube burst while I was applying it, and more fluid for the front. I am letting it dry over night and tomorrow I was test the steering lock to lock to see if it touches the cover.

Nice looking! I'll be interested to see how this whole gray-theme you're going with looks from a distance. I had grown so used to the blue!

You working Monday? I was thinking SYE install...
