nearly every trail in the US can be completed with 35s, a top notch suspension and an expert driver. id be happy with 100" WB on 35" stickies. but stretching the wheel base for 35's isn't worth the effort when a little more stretch would set you up for larger tires.

you basically come down to, what your time and money are worth to you. because everything you do to get it to where you want it to be - a little bit more would get you to the next bigger. that said - starting with an LJ would solve all the wheel base issues and you could jump straight to 37s with your axles being the only thing to worry about.
No alcohol talk: gotcha, thanks for the heads up. It's a clearer view on tires

That said, "nearly every trail in the US can be completed with 35s, a top notch suspension and an expert driver."

I think I have proven to be more of a LOL than a expect driver:P

Lawls, lawn crawlers on 40's. Everyone has to compensate for something sometimes.

Chris. I miss driving my Jeep. Can't wait to get into another one.

Just buy a LJ Rubi, throw on some 35s, and be done with it. Worked for me.

I got bored of surfing so i took some progress pictures, nothing gruesome

me ( duh)

left arm

better close up

close up of a close up, ignore the peeling skin.
the wound is covered with skin, the skin is now a decent thickness. where before(a few days ago) it was covered by only a thin layer of skin.
the yellow looking areas are where the antibiotic gauze's color was absorbed

Man that looks like some good progress on the healing there. The last pictures you put up of all that were pretty gruesome. The posts with regards to tires have been extremely helpful to me. Lately I've been pondering keeping my Jeep squatted down on 33's and simply killing my spacers with Savvy fire. Then I can sort of custom engineer adjustable control arms as time and money allow. Then again......35's.....just so sexy on a standard wheelbase TJ.

Go pick out a Jeep, Tiny!!!!!
