So far a lot of work but no serious mods. The trussed Ford 8.8 and trussed High-Pinion Dana 30 axle swaps will be my first serious mods. All great creations began as dreams. I'm not planning to stop any time soon. After the axle swaps, I will hopefully be building my own 4 link suspension. It'll all come together. I'm not trying to be the best Jeeper out there, I'm just learning along the way and doing my best!

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40

Happy Easter!

I will be pulling my rear axle out this week, chopping the frame a little and using a safe-t-cap frame section. Then test fitting my 8.8, finish welding, running some brake lines, and finishing the swap! Also, my HP30 will be here around April 15th, guy is driving from CO to CT so I've just gotta wait for his trip to my neck of the woods. Then I will be building a truss and cleaning everything up. Stay tuned!

Well done man. I totally restored a 66 Chevelle SS when I was 17 to show room condition only to sell it 3 years later. Huge mistake on my part. Nice jeep.

It's not bad for the money! Lifetime warranty is nice, have gotten a few problems solved for free. I will be majorly upgrading eventually though

Thanks! I bought a 86 CJ7 today, I'll make another build thread for it. Pretty beat but it runs and the frame is good! I wanted a project and I got one!

Here's my "ready to swap" Trussed HP30. Just replaced the pinion seal today then cleaned it up and gave it some new paint. It's ready to bolt in this weekend.

Well I swapped in my HP30 today. Went pretty well! Only took about 6 hours using hand tools (no power tools) and on the ground at my friends house. Here's a few pictures.

LP30 out:

The jeep and new axle "met" each other for the first time:

Swap complete!
