First boat ride of the year! Here is my 1969 13' Boston Whaler (also bought using money I earned myself, although I got everything very cheap because of my dad's connections).

Ordered a Banks Monster Exhaust. Mainly because mine was getting tired, but it also sounds kind of cool. Pretty quiet though, so when it rusts out, I will try something else.

It was time for a change! I found (5) 33x12.5x15 BF-Goodrich Mud Terrain KM1's with steel CJ rims for $600 and 90% tread! Bought them immediately. Ended up selling my worn out and dry rotted All-Terrains for $200, not bad since I bought all 5 of them with the rims in the picture for $250. I kept the American Racing Outlaw II rims and spent HOURS painting them black. Took a lot of sanding... Rustoleum self-etching primer and black wheel paint seemed to do the trick. A friend of ours mounted up the tires for me and I finally had them on the Jeep.

I may be a very avid hunter, but I saved these ducklings that were in the middle of the road. 3 of the 4 are pictured below. Yes I did spend an hour trying to catch them!

Another thing I didn't take pictures of was the brake jobs I did. My Jeep has brand new brakes all around, EVERYTHING. Springs, pads, calipers, rotors, shoes, lines, the whole 9 yards! I also did the electronic ignition, the water pump, and the spark plugs.

Bought this bumper from another member on JeepForum... Unfortunately I didn't realize until I got home that he must have used a small welder because the welds were pretty ****ty. SOLID, but ****ty. They were pretty boogered, and even had some undercut and slag "spray". So, I am currently re-welding and grinding down all the welds to make them more smooth and better looking. My stock tire carrier is too small to carry my full size spare, so I'm doing my best to get it done ASAP. I am also going to cut off the hitch this weekend and weld a patch on. I prefer to use my other hitch because I do actually tow stuff with my Jeep.

Finally graduated my school's bootcamp. So after being away from my Jeep for that long, I HAD to give it a good workout! Found a pretty neat place to do it too!

Time for some corners guards to cover up the damage

Yeah, I thought about it, but I think I'll have it fixed and eventually paint the whole thing. It won't last forever, but it'd be pretty cool to restore it with my kid some day (if it lives that long).

Worked on the bumper some more this weekend. Cut the awful looking hitch off, ground it all down, did some grinding on the tire carrier and then primed it. Will be on next weekend! Also sold a set of tires I had from when the Jeep was not lifted. Also my rear axle swap is about to begin! Going to military school makes you hit an early mid-life crisis! I'm basically going to throw a ton of money at the freakin thing cause it makes me happy!
