In what way? A coil spring can't be pompous.

For the USA standard inners, the website to order from is overstockdiffparts, and they are an affiliate of Randys Ring and Pinion. When you order from overstock, the order goes staight to RR&P. The emails I recieved (order confirmation, shipping confirmation, etc.) all came from RR&P. The above links can no longer be found through the main page of the website. However, the direct links still work, and the items can still be added to the cart and purchased. It only took 3 days for the shafts to arrive at my door.

I am no expert on shafts, but the USA standard shafts appear to be quality. They look just like the Ten Factory safts I have in my LJ. I have not yet recieved the durasolid outers as I just ordered them last night. I will comment on those later, but from what I've read they are Yukon shafts under a different brand name.

I just went to order these and you have the link to the left hand up twice.

I have received everything in the mail that I ordered except for the durasolid outers. I might try to get some of it installed today if I have time. Coal creek is only 3 weeks away and I'm going to be pretty busy with school the next couple of weeks, so finding time to get it done is going to be difficult.

I haven't made any plans for the stretch yet. I have about ten different ideas on how to do it depending on what my budget is when the time comes. Still going to be shooting for a 7" stretch though.

Durasolid outers came in today. Can't say anything of the quality at this point, but I'm impressed by the packaging. They had a styrofoam cutout specifically for them and a box the same size instead of a big box with some newspaper stuffed inside.

Spicer 760 joints came in a few days ago so I can get the shafts put together and install them once I find the time.

Got the new lift mostly finished over the last 2 days. Sits fairly level right now with the 3.5" rear Metalcloak coils and front 2.5" RC coils with 2" spacers. Should give plenty of clearance for the 35s.

I really like the rear Metalcloak coils. The top portion of the coil has a very light rate, so the coils completely collapse on each other. It basically becomes a coil spacer that unloads with downtravel. This gives out a longer free length. They are ridiculously long unloaded, I measured them at 19.5" versus 14.5" for my stock rear coils w/ 2" spacer. They were very difficult top get in without a coil compressor (my coil compressor wouldn't work with these coils). I had to take the track bar and sway bar loose before the axle would drop far enough to fit them in there. I don't have nearly enough shock travel to unseat these things, that is for sure. Another bonus of these coils is they function like a coil corrector. The collapsed section of the coils absorb the arch from a rotated pinion so that the section of the coil used at ride height is nearly perpendicular with the ground. They ride very well, better than the stock coils I just took out.

The rear end also got RC shock relocators, TV track bar bracket, RC extended sway bar links, custom adjustable track bar, and skyjacker hydro shocks. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out.

I didn't take any pictures, but the front end is now during on RC 2.5" coils with 2" spacers, skyjacker hydro shocks, custom bar pin eliminators, and RE 2" bumpstop extensions. I also have a RE adjustable track bar I am going to install, but the heim is no good so I'm going to order a Johnny joint to replace it. The alignment is only off slightly with the stock track bar, but I would like to get it centered right.

Also cut down a stock front driveshaft to use in the rear, just need a 1310 to 1330 u joint.

I'm probably going to throw the 35s on it today.

It looks great. Any plans of getting the matching front coil springs in the future?

Thanks. I do plan on getting the matching front coils, but not for my TJ. When I stretch the wheelbase I will no longer be able to use these coils. At that time I am going to transfer the Metalcloak rear coils to my LJ and get the matching front coils. I can probably use 14" travel shocks with these and not unseat them.
