Hey man good looking TJ...Sorry to hear about you last jeep, but awesome you were able to find a good replacement. Im from Charleston! I have been thinking of making the 3 hr drive up to gulches...How are beginner trails? I'm not going to go to crazy on my LJ until I can get a TT and some other skids on him, but I have been wanting to go up there and mess around! Anyway awesome TJ!

Yeah thanks man. It's been in the garage waiting on me to spend the money for the bracket kit. I also have to get the weathering stripping for it and get it painted before tackling the job. I'll be sure to look for you when I run into any problems or have any concerns.

The beginner trails are great. It will be worth the 3 hours for sure. There about as many moderate and beginner trails there as there are extreme difficult trails. Plus once you get there, the owner Skip will give you a map and explain the park and give you a tour around to make sure you don't get lost. It's all good fun. You don't have to have a TT to tackle some of the trails at gulches unless you want to get into the difficult rock gardens haha let me know when you go up there and my brother and I will bring our jeeps.

Thanks man. Yeah if you are looking for some good modding with xj's, check out my brothers. (rockdrummer93) he's been into jeeps longer than me and knows a lot more.

Went to Gulches this past weekend for presidents day. Just rode around and watched the big rigs. Heres a video of one flipping on a brand new trail called apple pie. It obviously wasn't as easy as apple pie.

New Jeep looks great. Best thing you did was restore the full flares!

Thanks man, I still haven't replaced the rears which bothers me a lot and I can't bring myself to pay $100 at the junkyard or online for new ones. It will just have to be until I win the lottery.

Yeah I don't know why he did that.. and he just painted over the paint matched flares so you could tell where it was chipping off you could see the original paint.

Thanks guys.

Next couple of plans are to replace my rear flares with stock ones.. I'm putting in 3/4" pucks in the front to level it a little and I need a new muffler since the whole pipe is laying on the belly pan.. I looked under it today and nothing is holding it up. Plus there is an exhaust leak :thumb down: So probably flow master.
