2001 TJ purchased after rollover

I picked up a rolled wrangler after about a 120lb girl was doing around 45 on a road an I think ended up with death wobble, lost control and the jeep rolled. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt and was thrown as you might expect...walked away with a broken finger! The airbags didn't go off and the title was good so I picked it up.

I decided to build something fun. I found out the hard way that parts aren't cheap! After I make sure the frame was straight I ended up replacing both axles (HP D30 and 31 spline 8.8 w/disks) and also installed 4.88 gears.

To make sure the death wobble was gone I went with currie heavy duty draglink and tierod along with a new front trackbar...drives practically like a regular car now! With the 4.5" lift the NP231 xfer case has an SYE kit and CV. The rad was leaking from the rollover so I went with an all metal one. There are some other upgades also...but basically if it needed replaced, I didn't hold back.

There are some downsides, but it sure looks like a tough jeep! It gets lots of attention, but mostly because people love it. Once I get some more posts I'll get some pictures up.

I'm usually pretty good about finding deals...but I think I just underestimated the cost of parts. That, and I could't just replace things like the axles, I had to go and get upgraded ones, re-gear them, and put a locker in the rear...you get the idea

It's a trail jeep in every sense. One thing that's great is I don't have to worry about what it looks like. My buddy with an 07 JK Rubicon has to creep past trees, make sure the mud is off his shoes, and things like that...not a concern for me.
