Did you make it up that spot in the 4th pic? I've never even tried it since I've only seen XJs with the longer WB make it

No, I tried to crawl it for about 10 minutes and wasn't getting very far. I think if I hammered down a bit more I could have made it but with a stock cage I wasn't willing to try.

When I upgrade my cage I'll try again with lower tire pressure. I was at 10 and should have went to 8. Great day on the trails though. First time wheeling with the lockers, no flops and nothing broke

A couple updates. Built a new stubby front bumper, pulled a dent out of the rear corner behind the license plate, swapping to a CJ tailgate (swag kit) and adding an Autoloc bearclaw latch. Getting it painted from rear corner to corner this weekend.

I'm still finishing up the mounts and going to use a choke cable to open it. This is the latch I bought:

I did all of the body work (pulled the dent, hammer and dolly work, bondo, prime, block sand etc) and my friend sprayed it in his booth.

Thanks man. Almost ready to go out and scratch it all up

Another view (I need to change out the bolts. I had to do a ton of welding to the gate and messed up the threads. Had to run a tap through them all afterward.)

What color is your jeep? I have the same color but don't know the official name. Thanks!

Very nice build!

The southern possum is a flat marsupial that lives in the middle of the road.
