Let me know how you like the tires after you use them a bit. I'm in the market for some new tires myself

tires are mounted and balanced. ill be going out to the trails in a lil bit, but no pics, it will be to dark out... first impressions of these tires is they are extremely nice on the road. also found that my tre's and bj's are shot!! lol bj's. so hopefully they will be fair for the time being and get me home safe tonight. i will be ordering a new set of bj's this week. as for the tre's, ill get some for a v8 grand cherokee and try to find a inner tie rod. pics of the tires mounted will be coming shortly.

so far im really liking the tires. these tires are so quiet on the road its rediculous. its also nice to have balanced wheels for once . offroad they are really nice. i went easy today because of the tre's and balljoints, but never lost traction, except for when the diff got hung up. here are some pics of them mounted.

when you used the extractor bits, did you drill a pilot hole first? also i've had better luck turning those bits by hand as opposed to using a drill (since i dont have a good low speed drill)
i had the same problem with one of my rear upper shock mount bolts... the bolt broke, the shock hung loose, i tried to extract it, busted the extractors... drilled out the bolt completely (dulled 3 cheap bits)... tried to rethread and broke the threading bit... drilled through that, and ultimately ran a bolt through and put a nut on the other side, good thing i can reach the end where the nut goes!. i really dont recommend most of those steps for you though :P

First i took a punch to the center of the bolt. Then drilled a small hole as deep as possible. Then took the extractor to it. Did it by hand. The bit snapped. Then took a bigger drill bit and extractor to it. That snapped off too. This time i had to go nuts trying the get the bit out. Next for the larger size. Now thats seriously lodged in there... This is rediculous. Gunna go balls out on it tonight and hope i dont need a new head...

stopped by harbor freight today and picked up a 4.5" angle grinder for 15 bucks. 5 bucks more for a 2 year warrantee. also got some flap disks and cutting wheels.
as of right now, still working on getting the manifolds off the motor. while i was at HF, i got a fuel line disconnect kit, so ill be disconnecting my fuel rail tomorrow, which will be painted. the crossmember(aka the shovel) is currently off. ill be repainting it, and cleaning the frame rails of rust tommorow. i also painted the t-case drop spacers silver today too. pics to come!

im in desperate need for tires right now. im actually thinking about the wild country mtx radials. they are an off-brand of cooper.

they seem like nice tires for the price, and they do have good reviews. anyone have any opinions?

Well those tires were really smooth on the road but Firestone has a ride and drive thing where you can return them with in 30 day's if your not happy with them so I took them back and got the MT's
