Nice jeep.......

just curious.... if you're really into speed, why are you weighing it down with all the exterior stuff?

It might slow it down just a tad, but dont you agree with me that my XJ looks alot better with it on? I've gotten more looks on my XJ than my brand new 2002 BMW 300i.... My XJ is very fast now... but if I took off the brush guards and running boards, I'm sure it would be a tad faster...

Yeah, thats what I figured in the first place. I think it would improve a "tad" bit like I stated above.

Hmmm couldnt tell ya.... I have been too busy with school that I never had the chance to take my XJ to the track. What would you estimate that my times would be?

This is just a guess but maybe a low 10 in the 1/8.

Not to be a jerk or nothin, but it's not going to run anything too impressive. A V-8 Grand Cherokee would whoop all over it stock. Yes, dude, I can appreciate the time and effort that went into modding that thing, but if you want a fast vehicle, you didn't start with the best platform.

If ya want fast get a new Overland. That'll make your XJ look like a Yugo.

Nah sorry, I was looking at a V8 WJ in my rearview mirror when he tried to strap one on and race me. So I am assuming that I would "whoop" a ZJ as well. Even though they should beat me ... they have the more powerful engine... but my XJ is lighter, which makes a hell of a difference. And for your Overland remark... Sorry again, I'll take my XJ over it ANYDAY.... and Yugo? Sorry again.... If I wanted a fast car, I wouldnt go with Jeep anyways... dont get me wrong, they are fast for what they are... but thats what I have my 2002 BMW 330i for. BTW, what do you drive?
