1999 Tj Rockcrawler DD

I havent posted in a while, I have been a little busy. I have owned a Xj for about 3 years and I love it.

So I have switched jobs and in the parking lot sat a 99 Tj Sport 4.0 Manual trans with 92,000 for 2+ years. The owner has had bank difficulties for several years on the jeep. The bank said he owed $1,700 on the jeep so thats what he wanted to sell it for. To my surprize I only paid $875.

The jeep would not start so I replaced the starter and fired right up... Bullet Proof. Drove home just fine.

I had just sold my motorcycle, so I figured perfect timing.

So the build begins.

You basically stole that jeep. I thought $700 for my 2000 was a good deal (way more body damage and a blown engine)

Great steal on the Jeep! Can't wait to see where you're going with the build!

I like them they are really sturdy, but the powder coating isnt so good. At some of the seams there is rust already and all I have done is wash it.

I figure if the rust gets to bad I can take them to get them repowdercoated. You really cant beat the price...

Hmm they are very cheap. About 500 with shipping. You cant really beat that. How long have you had them?

I have had them for about 2 months..
I had ordered mine on Summit racing, the cheapest I could find. If you want the extra 3" flare you have to order it that way.
