This is my slow TJ build, the Jeep is a 1998 Sport 4.0L, 6 cylinder inline. I worked 2 jobs over the summer just so i could make my Jeep look acceptable.

About 3 days ago i ordered a Skyjacker 2.5 inch lift, .75 inch front coil spacers, with hydro 8000 shocks, a matching Skyjacker steering stabilizer, and a Skyjacker tc drop kit (probably not needed but i think it looks cool). Also i ordered a teraflex cb antenna holder.

My freind has a shop at his house with a hydraulic lift for trucks and we are going to install everything there Sunday night. I have been searching and searching for a thread about the 2.5 inch skyjacker lift kit but never found one so i am making this build thread for people who are interested in getting one.

After we install the lift kit i am going to the tire shop the day after to get BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2's in 33 x 10.50 on some soft 8 15 inch steelies. Putting everything on Sunday so pictures will probably be up Monday after i get the tires.

Well my freinds dad needed the shop tonight for his job, so we are gonna do the build this upcoming weekend, but to kill time we've been looking and researching all the parts that we have never worked with (like the cam bolts, never heard of them lol) so we wont be up S**t creek without a paddle. Sorry for the dissapointment, thanks reading the thread by the way.

Installed the front end today, installation was easy. Uninstalling the old shocks and coil springs were pretty tough. The upper shock bolt we just cut off because the nut had seized up and the coil springs wouldn't come off easy so we just disconnected the lower control arms and let the whole front differential and axle pivot down about a foot. After that it was easy, the bushings on the lower mount for the front shocks were kind of off set, is that supposed to be?

Another pic with faded fender flares, painted the fender flares today with krylon satin black. I dont know how the paint is going to work out but if it doesnt i'm just gonna sand the paint off and dye them or trash them.

I like the look man I have a Skyjacker 2.5 lift as well and I like mine I'm just glad to finally see one with 33s on.

2 days and 4 coats of krylon fusion satin black, they've been painted for a bout 3 weeks and haven't chipped or scratched yet.

Thanks man, and trust me the 33 x 10.50's are worth the wait, a lot of people at my school were like don't get them but I love them, they're just right for Jeeps
